RITES Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, is seeking applications for dynamic and qualified engineering professionals to join their team on a contract basis. These roles are essential to support RITES’ multidisciplinary consultancy work in transport, infrastructure, and related technologies.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

• Full-time Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in relevant engineering fields.
• Degrees must be AICTE-recognized.

Experience Requirements

• Assistant Manager (Civil):
  • Degree holders: 2 years in Railway siding construction/maintenance.
  • Diploma holders: 8 years in the same field.
• Assistant Manager (S&T):
  • Degree holders: 2 years in S&T system erection/maintenance.
  • Diploma holders: 8 years in the same field.
• Assistant Manager (Electrical):
  • Degree holders: 2 years in OHE erection/maintenance.
  • Diploma holders: 8 years in the same field.

Age Limit

Candidates must not exceed 40 years of age as of January 9, 2025.

Selection Process

The recruitment process includes:

1. Written Test:
   • Weightage: 60%
   • Format: 125 objective questions over 2.5 hours, with no negative marking.
2. Interview:
   • Weightage: 40% (Technical proficiency – 30%, Personality/Communication – 10%).

Shortlisted candidates will be notified for the interview, and the final selection depends on meeting medical fitness standards.

Remuneration

The monthly basic pay starts at ₹23,340 for degree holders and ₹19,508 for diploma holders, with additional allowances depending on the place of posting.
