The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has announced vacancies for the position of Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) across multiple disciplines in the Directorate of Education and other bodies under the Government of NCT of Delhi.

Vacancies
A total of 432 positions are available for various subjects including Hindi, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Commerce, History, Political Science, and Sociology. The breakdown of vacancies is as follows:
- PGT Hindi (Male): 70 vacancies
- PGT Mathematics (Male): 21 vacancies

Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: The upper age limit is 30 years, with age relaxations applicable as per government norms.
- Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian citizens.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks, along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
How to Apply
Interested candidates must register on the official DSSSB portal https://dsssbonline.nic.in. Applications can only be submitted online, and no offline submissions will be entertained.
Examination Scheme
The selection process involves a Tier-I Computer-Based Test (CBT), consisting of two sections:
- Section I: General awareness, reasoning, numerical aptitude, English, and Hindi comprehension.
- Section II: Subject-specific questions.
The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours, and negative marking (0.25 marks per wrong answer) will be applicable.
Application Fee
The application fee is ₹100. However, women candidates, SC/ST, PwBD, and ex-servicemen are exempted from this fee.
