Big news for candidates appearing in UPSC’s NDA and CDA 1 2024 examination. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results of National Defense Academy and Naval Academy (NDA&NA) 1 Examination 2024 and Combined Defense Services (CDS) 1 Examination 2024 held on April 21.
The results of UPSC NDA/CDS I Result 2024 were declared by the Commission on Thursday, May 9. Along with this, UPSC has also released the roll numbers of the candidates who have qualified for the next stage based on their performance in the NDA/CDS 1 written examinations.
What is UPSC NDA/CDS Exam?
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts two examinations for entry into the Indian Armed Forces:
National Defense Academy and Naval Academy Examination (NDA/NA): This examination is for Army, Navy and Air Force who have completed their 10+2 education. Successful candidates are trained at the National Defense Academy (NDA) in Pune. After that they are given special training in their respective academies.
Combined Defense Services Examination (CDS): This examination is for those who want to join the Indian Military Academy (IMA) for the Army, Indian Naval Academy (INA) for the Navy, Air Force Academy (AFA) for the Air Force.
How to check result:
Candidates who have appeared in the UPSC NDA 1 and CDS 1 written examination need to visit the official website of the Commission, https://upsc.gov.in/, to check their roll number. Then candidates have to click on the respective link of NDA/CDS Result given on the home page. After this, the notification of the results of both the examinations (UPSC NDA/CDS I Result 2024) and the list of roll numbers of the successful candidates will be in PDF format, in which the candidates can search their roll number.
UPSC NDA/CDS I Result 2024: Successful candidates should register for SSB interview
According to the notifications of both the examinations issued by UPSC, the candidates who have been declared successful in the NDA/CDS 1 Result (UPSC NDA/CDS I Result 2024), will be included in the interview of the Service Selection Board (SSB).
For this interview, candidates will have to register first. For both the exams, candidates can register themselves by visiting the Indian Army recruitment portal, https://www.joinindianarmy.nic.in/.
